This workflow system has been designed to cater for all necessary actions during the Indigent Management process, from the initial registration steps through the maintenance of the register.
The establishment of a credible register commences with the assessment of the institutional arrangements within the municipality (capacity, roles and responsibilities, interaction between various involved Departments, alignment of the policies affecting Indigent management i.e. Indigent Policy, Free basic services Policy, Credit control policy, etc.).
Keeping municipal financial data up to date is a continuous effort. In addition to enhancing data from different external sources we also do physical field audits/verification where necessary. Data collection is configured according to the unique requirements of our clients. Collected information is supported Each verification/audit action is identified by a unique job card code, geo-reference, execution time, photo as well as person who executed the action.
The Indi-Reg solution caters furthermore for accurate recording of free basic alternative energy (i.e. stove, gel, paraffin, candles, solar panels) delivery to Indigent households. This is achieved with minimum effort by simply scanning a barcode from an Indigent beneficiary’s card which then automatically updates the Indi-Reg database accordingly.
